How could you make all of your ingredients? Do you mean that you distill them from their previous form ex. squeeze the oil out of the olives? You dry and grind beets for the beetroot powder? I'm just intrigued because I've never heard anyone say this.

That takes a LOT of finesse which I'm sure you have. I tried working at emulsion once and stirring to trace...and the colors in my swirls separated a few minutes after pouring- I noticed it in the remaining soap at the bottom of the cups as I was washing up. The inside was grainy and...

You oils/lye don't have to be the same temp but the warmer they are, the faster it will trace. i've been soaping for 2 years and never had that explained so simply before. Thank you!

My husband is also not very stinky. Deodorant is sort of a formality (he uses it, but if he didn't, the world wouldn't know). It's probably genetic. I knew people in high school who showered 3x/day and claimed they'd stink if they didn't.

I like that. Would it bother you next to a turquoisey and sand-colored 'water' soap?

OOB it smells somewhat mango, but soaped, it smells like green leaves to me.

Mine too. But one of the elements is already water so I feel like I should stay away from the ocean scents. The water one will probably end up as salty mariner BB or ocean spray NG. The fire is orange chili pepper NG and the earth is Fresh Mango BB (which smells super-green and not like mango).
