    I'm with you Susie, I'm using Clove Bud from Crafter's Choice and I'm probably going to use .5 oz per 38.5 total oil wieght, soap at about 80 degrees and mix EO into oil before. Probably won't have time for swirling. thx

    Excellent point! It's from a company called Oakland Gardens from My Seeds Co. website. Vanilla 10X Vanilla planifolia. They market it as an EO. I would imagine it's an absoute, it's not a blend, but you would know much better than I. thx

    Thanks for the repy kind sir! I understand about the cinnamon infution, thx, but still wondering what happened to the vanilla. Mixed EO and OO into oils @ 110 degrees then mixed in lye/water at 113 degrees. By the by, the EO smells great in the bottle. thx

    I ground up fresh cinnamon, heated it in OO at 200 degrees, strained it and it smelled, and still does, wonderful. Mixed it in with Vanilla 10X from Oakland Gardens, which smells great too. 1 oz Cinn. OO, 1 oz Vanilla EO 10X per 38.5 total oil weight. Mostly Avacado, Palm and Coconut with some...

    From SoapGoods. Use the same with Yiang Yiang from Crafters Chioce and it came out perfect. I had two oz of Hazelnut in the mix but besides that was just Avacado, coconut oil, palm oil and shea.

    Added 1oz Lemongrass EO and .5oz Cedarwood Sage EO and FO blend to 65oz oil and lye base with 2tsp sodium lactate, wasn't even close to trace, and within seconds the batch turned into playdough.
