I use metric measurements and everyone seems to agree on something around volume x .7 to calculate the amount of oils needed for a mold. So I tried using that twice now and end up with less soap than needed both times. I used a tea-box with 2 compartments today with each compartment...

This is my second succesful soap and the first one that looks kind of nice. Not exactly beautiful but I like it anyway. It's made with peppermint tea, green clay and lemongrass EO added to my oils. It has a lot of air bubbles but I did not yet know about 'burping' the stick blender.

I think the look of the baskets could be better. Personally I want a basket to be beautiful and useful later on. From these pictures it looks like they are in cheap, disposable food containers? And I think that letting your customers fill the basket would help also.

So my soap may not be a loss yet? I heated the soap up a bit in the oven, if I now re-insulate it and leave it for a day or two longer it might get okay?

Isn't it strange then that this is meant as a first recipe to try in a book?
