    First time dealing with DOS

Thanks linne1gi for your suggestions. Our humidity levels have been through the roof lately. Lol I haven’t had issues with my bars sweating, just DOS. I’ll definitely get some of the EDTA for my next batch. Hopefully it’ll help. I did move my curing area to another room in my home.

    First time dealing with DOS

Thanks for getting back so quick :-) My recipe: 6% castor 20% coconut oil 55.2% lard 18.8% Olive oil Only 5% super fat I did have a batch on a plastic coated rack. Maybe it had something to do with it. I did remove it from my shelf where I place the soap to cure.

    Fresh Finds Coconut oil

I finally made it back to Big Lots and yes I think “Fresh Finds” is the same as Butcher Boy coconut oil. In fact the store had both brands available but I purchased the FF since the expiration date was later than BB. $12 for 1020z. Great buy and big savings !

    Fresh Finds Coconut oil

Thanks everyone. I’ll return to Big Lots next weekend to purchase some. I think this bottle was around $12 if I remember right. I’ll let y’all know once I know for sure. Also, I do agree that it does look like Butcher Boy. I bought that brand a couple years ago from BL.
