    I spread it about 1/2 inch thick on wax paper and covered it with paper towels. I wrongly thought it would still be soft after 2 weeks. It goes back to the consisity of clay with very little water.

    I know that age and moisture content can improve soap , would using a food dehydrator speed it up , prevent DOS , make the scent not fade ? Has anyone tried this after cutting / unmolding ?

    What to do with salt bar shavings?

    I HP my soaps and melt mine in a crock pot with a little water. Once melted I put it in a mold and it works like any other soap .

    Stearic acid melts at about 156 degrees f . It will melt in a crock pot on high in a few minutes .

    Hello everyone , I want to make a hot process salt soap and I need a little info . It will have 100% coconut oil superfatted 10 to 15 percent , salt 80% ppo . Do I add the salt after trace or after it finishes cooking ?
