We have made many other soaps and this is the only one that does it. It did go through gel. Other soaps we do go thought gel and there hard in the middle when we cut them. I was thinking of using less OO but maybe I'll try less water. Thanks

Tried to make the mould that Cathy makes on her video. I'll have to make a batch of soap up and see how it performs.

I'll cut it when I get home tomorrow. The mold is 33 inches long. 115ounces . I was trying to get it to gel but I don't think It did.

Made this today. Used paprika to colour it.

Do you infuse your oil then just use it like that? Ive been infusing a little bit extra, then adding it to colour my soap. Im not sure if people infuse all there oil that there going to use or just a few ounces.

Ive got a very nice purple with alkanet root. A 17oz batch I used 5TBSP of infused oil. It was a dark purple. I just made a big batch and didn't add enough. Its more grey/blue. Just add a lot and it will get purple.

The Efficacious Gentleman, I used OO, Palm oil,CO and Sweet almond oil. I used turmeric and alket root for colour. Houseofwool, After I poured in my soap, I took out my divider then used a chopstick to swirl it.

This is my 4th attempt at beer soap. This time I wanted to try the divide it in half. I used turmeric and alkelt root then swirled them together. Used beer for my liquid. Can't wait to unmold this.
