    Strange batch

It is a slab mold separated into individual bars. I added fragrance after trace. The bars are a little powdery after curing a couple weeks but it smells awesome.

    Strange batch

I made a batch of soap. The lye was a little old but it did set up and work like the soap normally goes but something weird happened. I know the fragrance accelerates so I added it at thin trace mixed slightly and then colored the bottles of soap I did not fragrance. It took only a few minutes...

    Soap for hunters

Hunting soap I have made actually used anise. It actually masks the human scent. You obviously have to make a spray too

The seeds have not gelled. Just have to try out the soap. I suspect as long as the soap is well drained this...

    Seeds Chía

Chia seeds in soap? I found this thread while looking for chia ideas and wondering if I could use in soap. I decided to experiment to see if soaking the seeds in oil creates the gel too. I have soaked some seeds in olive oil over night and no gel has formed. It could be possible that adding...

So I went to my handy soap calculator and increased the fats based on what I had in the house. I melted my oils in the crock pot and used the lye...
