    Ok so I saw a post on a Facebook forum where someone bought a dehydrator to speed up curing time, making the bars "ready " in a few days rather than 6 weeks! My question is , does the same changes in the soap occur if its cured this way ie mild ....?

    I would just get a cutter made with interchangeable widths btw each wire. One to cut into strips and one to cut into bars. Or make a long slab mold so that u cut it in strips width wise and then cut those into bars by hand if that makes sense.

    So I am still completely terrified of my lye ans proceed with extreme caution when making soap. I made a batch tonight and got a little batter on the kitchen counter. How do I clean it off? Throw away the counter? Haha jk but it totally is freaking me out

    Do lotion bars go by the same standards as soap if I am selling them in the us? Or are they a cosmetic that needs to be tested etc if I want to sell them?

    What's birth soap? I'm intrigued. I infused some annatto, calendula and alkanet in oo today and bought a butt load of essential oils . Yay Sooo expensive! Thank you tax refund!

    Soap dots

    So I think the dots r not going to work. I tried to use one and it slipped right of out my hand and into the drain. I tried again and same thing :( I will figure it out. Maybe spread a thin layer And then break it apart into small chips. Oh well. I guess I have embeds now. It's fun to try things...
