    Crisco in lieu of coconut

I've used crisco for a few soaps...........its great. Doesn't break me out. Creamy lather. If you want a lot of bubbles...just add a bit of castor. Here's an ideal...make a test batch and see if you like it. A few soaps that these sites say don't work........work wonders. Ils like folks who's go...

    Shampoo Bar - Thanks Lindy!!

The scent of vinegar disabates when hair drys...but a vinegar rinse only has about 1/2 cup of vinegar to a quart of water. So its like non-existant in smell.

    Shampoo Bar - Thanks Lindy!!

You will LOVE it. Silk is amazing. It is great on hair and skin. Here's my shampoo bar. Lots of silk in there. Interesting. Shouldn't vinegar being acid cause and nutralizing effect in lye...being a base? That can be a tricky thing.

TD is going to send me over the edge!

Try mixing the td with water. Its been my experience that sometimes td is mislabeled. So do a test...if water drops in...sinks to bottom and stirs....even if it says oil dispersable....its a water base.

    Crisco in lieu of coconut

I never suggested using it as a single oil...I suggested that yes...it is a suitable replacement for coconut oil.....which is what she was asking about. As for soapcalc...I use brambleberry which also list it under its proper title but there is no way to know which calc someone is using and they...

    Crisco in lieu of coconut

By Crisco...are you refering to shortening or oil. Either way....your calc should be for soybean oil........cuz that's what it is. Be advised that soybean can vocano when hot processed...so be careful. If shortenting is scraped to get it out of container...there may be a bright orange reaction...

    Home address on labels

The USPS states that you can use a p.o. box as your permanent address...business address......and I have for nearly 30 years. Mail will get forwarded to home address automatically if p.o. box fails. And the guideline that ways a way to get in touch with the seller stipulates mailing address...

    Home address on labels

Exactly Lin. I read ALL of that and the updates over the years. It is perfectly legal to use your po box as your business address. All that is listed as a guide line. My soaps are listed as soaps becuz they are. No cosmetics or detergents in it. I don't even use sodium lactate cuz even though...

    vegitable oil

You may want to fix your google. Mine say canola........cuz I put canola in it. Rapeseed oil is a strong version of canola oil.........and canola sounds better.

    Home address on labels

In the usa.....the fda guideline stated an address where you could receive and respond to mail, company name, and phone or web page. Is been good enough for 28 years.........not worried about it now. Legally I only need to declare soap or non-soap. I don't have to list ingredients other than...

    vegitable oil

    Rapeseed oil is canola oil.
  20. peepla

    vegitable oil

No specifically....but can be. Mostly its soybean oil....which is good for skin....but soy tends to have issues. I perfer canola personally........but I'm still gonna double check that the label says 100%. If there's no 100% , then the oil could be a blend.
