    Cracking Soap

    Well I think I will call this issue of cracking a success as I have now made 3 batches of soap that I previously had trouble with cracking and put them in the refrigerator instead of the freezer and all 3 of them came out perfect. Thanks for everyones comments and helps.

    Does anyone know why some of my Goat milk soaps crack at some while in the freezer. After I pour into my mold I put into the freezer for 8 hrs. Sometimes they come out perfect and other times the soap will have cracked around the outside edges, see attached picture.

    What soapy thing have you done today?

    I was requested to make a soap that smells like the soda pop "Mountain Dew" and so I made a Goat Milk soap with green and white swirls and the scent from Natures Garden called MT. Dew. I think it turned out well and has a nice strong lemon/lime scent.

    Had my first Etsy order to of all countrys Israel. A gal ordered 20 votive candles and so was kindof surprised because shipping to therewas not cheap. I am wondering if they cannot get that kind of product in there country.
