    Rancid Oils, Is there a use?

    I have a small amount of rancid oil that I would like to use up. Is there any way to use this in a lye based soap that would hide the smell of the rancidness? I'm thinking a strong Cinnamon might hide the smell but I want to see what others experiences have been.

    Rebatching M&P bars with my soap bars?

    I received a bunch of melt and pour bars for Christmas but they just don't have any lather, so I wanted to mix them with my recipe so they are more desirable to my preference. Would there be any issues with Melting it and adding it to my soap bar recipe after my recipe reaches trace?

    White stuff on top of my soaps

    I've found on every batch of soap that I make there is a white residue that forms. I understand that it is only a cosmetic flaw but does anyone know how I can avoid this or reduce the chance of it happening? Thanks.
