    Badly need advice

I remember I used to print them and also scribble the results on the printed recipes. They were really cool even with a few splashes and stains from the process but alas "someone" (dear wife probably) must have "tidied up" my drawer and they're lost for good :-( Thank you very much! One...

    Badly need advice

Thank you very much. My work has to do with oncology and I am doing what I can to minimize risks for my loved ones and having natural soap is one little way on that path. Thank you very very much. A good starting point for my horrible memory :)

    Badly need advice

Dear friends, in the past with your help I did make several kilos of wonderful soap but now I have finished my last 5 Kgs batch and should start anew. Problem 1: I lost all of my recipes (had printed with handwritten notes them but they have disappeared) :-( Problem 2: the soapcalc.com website...

    Question on Avocado oil

Thank you all. Good suggestions, will def look them all up :-) As I live in Italy I can splurge with Olive Oil (as all countries facing the Mediterranean). Now if my Grandmother was still alive I'd have a good additional reason to go see her (she was born in Vienna, Pichelsdorfer Strasse) to get...

    Question on Avocado oil

Are there semi-affordable sources of this oli ? (In Europe / Italy) I could only find a 50ml bottle for 9 Euros by internet order ! Liquid gold. LOL PS weightwise I was displeased to see the oil was only 45 grams. Is that accounted for by the specific weight or did they fill the bottle...

    Using powdered chlorophyll

How do you "brew" your parsley juice ? Do you use it to dissolve your lye? Thanks

    Using powdered chlorophyll

Do you add the powder as such at trace or make an oil infusion prior to using it or add it to the lye/water solution ? Thanks

    Brown colour

Which makes a LOT of sense biologically since most "tastes" (aside the 5 basic ones) are actually conveyed by the olfactory system (as the recognize apple from onion while having a bad cold experiment shows). :-)

    Brown colour

LOL not being a native english speaker something might have been lost in translation :-) edible comes from MY language and at least in our culture is a synonim as commestible. :-) Will experiment on making a strong coffee and using it to dissolve my lye (thinking about the purists that suggest...

    Brown colour

Thank you all. I vastly prefer edible stuff to use as colorants and so will try both cocoa and coffee. I was wondering if you use them as colorants in the soap mix at thin trace or if you used their water solution as the media to dissolve the lye.

    Brown colour

Can I use coffee or chocolate poweder to obtain a nice brown colour ? Directions please ? Should I brew a choco or coffee drink and use it in place of the water ? Thanks for any help.
