I got a better pic. This is my first time using a discoloring FO and I think it turned out pretty well :)

This is my newest soap, the brown part is scented with NG's pink sugar and the pinks are unscented. Colored with cocoa, rose clay, titanium dioxide, and a little bit of red oxide.

Thanks everybody! You all have some great suggestions. I do have weights, there are concrete blocks on the feet of the tent :)

I want to try this recipe, but I have a couple of questions. All of my soaps are made with goat's milk and/or beer, is it possible to use pottasium hydroxide with those? Also, what does the added glycerin do?

I used 2 parts orange, 1 part litsea cubeca and 1 part cedarwood :)

This is my Cedarwood and 5x orange soap. I love the scent!

I used canning salt from the canning aisle in walmart wefore I started using himalayan salt. I think that it's cheaper than regular table salt and it's the same thing :)

This is my favorite soap so far, scented with lavender and Litsea. I did a kinda spoon plop swirl with nettle, alkanet root, rose clay and green sea clay. What do you think?

I use spirulina and nettle for green and they have never turned brown or had DOS. I love the color that spirulina gives. The Bulk Herb Store has the best price on spirulina that I have found :)

I tried the bar, and it was great! It worked perfectly on my very oily hair :) I guess that leaving the olive oil out was a good idea!

Thanks for all your responses! I changed it slightly, because I ran out of shea butter and olive oil. The new recipe is: 25% avocado oil 20% castor oil 15% cocoa butter 15% coconut oil 25% apricot kernel oil I HP'd it today and I'll try it in the next couple days and let ya'll know how it goes! :)

I am working on a shampoo bar recipe and I was wondering if oils like Mango butter, Apricot Kernel oil, cocoa butter and avacado oil really make a difference? Here is the recipe that I am thinking of using: 20% avacado oil 5% Mango butter 5% cocoa butter 20% castor oil 5% shea butter...

I love castor oil and olive oil! I just started using avacado oil and so far I really like it :)-

My shampoo bar recipe doesn't have any butters in it, do they make a big difference? Do you like bars with shea butter better than to those without?
