    Sorry Hazel lol, so the other companies wax are lasting approx 3 days and are very strong. I am going to try your temperatures, and I use a blend of 30% paraffin wax with 70% soy, does this sound right? I also use fragrance oils that are suitable for candle making, especially soy wax :smile:

    The scent throw is just scenting a room approx 13 feet by 12 feet, and isn't lasting more than an hour or 2, and is quite weak.......... I'm melting wax to 80 - 85, adding fragrance, stirring for at least 3 minutes, then pouring.........

    Just a little advice please, I am making tarts with a soy pillar/container blend and using 10% fragrance oil, but how do I get a stronger, longer lasting fragrance like the companies such as Front Porch and Rosegirls get?* Thank you in advance :)

    I finally found some! Food grade polypropylene, with hinged lids too, I was assured from the manufacturing company that they wouldn't drain the scent from the wax :)

    Hi there, thank you for your reply Yes I am, I have made sure that the fo's are for soy and have been given a good review........ I thought it might be my temperatures that were affecting the hot throw, I have only just started making tarts but just can't seem to get them to throw :(

    Hey guys, i wonder if anyone could give me some advice regarding the recipe I'm using for wax tarts, I get great cold throw, but the hot throw is minimal, and lasts an hour max :( This is what I'm doing...... 100g advanced soy wax 7g bipol x 20ml oil Melting bipol to 185 degree...
