I am having difficulty finding lip balm labels for the standard size tubes. They all seem too big or small. Is there a company that sells one to the exact size? It seems like I need one that's 2"(long)x1 3/4"(to go around).

I read some where that FO can act like a base oil so you take some base oil out to compensate for the FO. Meaning if you have 4 oz. of FO, you take out about 4oz of base oils. Does anyone do this?

I have a mold that seems to sweat on the top. It is a wooden box with plastic inserts. I put the lid on and cover with towels to gel. When I open it after 24 hours, there are like sweat beads on the top that zap the tongue. If I put my tongue on the insides of the bar, no zap. So could the lye...

Can patchouli EO smell different even though they have the same plant name? I bought one that smelled really nice and soft (you could say) in a soap and then made the same soap with patchouli from a different company and it smells harsher (if that makes sense). Shouldn't they smell the same...

On all the stuff I have been reading, it will say (for an example) add 1 oz of per pound of FO or use 6 oz EO per 11 pound batch. Does this mean the weight of the raw carrier oils or the weight of the batch once it has cured? Please help!

Has anyone used Wellington Fragrance Company for EO? I am looking to see if they have good quality products. They seem to be reasonably priced and have a large selection of EO and FO in various sizes.
