    Why is my soap doing this?

    hot spot it sounds like you're fine. wooden soap molds are self insulating. i always get a faster gel. sometimes a f/oil can increase temperature of soap in the mold. i wouldn't worry...quit peeking!...putting plastic over the mold and leaving the lid on keeps yor soap from getting an ash...

    Soap Fragrances/Spread

    craft show just a thought, but you might cut up a few bars into smaller pieces, use a small zip-bag with a business card. with money tight these days, it would be a fragrant reminder when payday comes around. good luck and let us know how it went. monet
