I made a batch of cp and used 1:1 lye and water. added to oils and stick blended to trace added the gm. scented and poured in mold. It looked fine then I started to texture the tops and noticed it is liquid under the top of the soap. Don't know what happened to it. TIA

when doing cp if you keep the lye and milk under 65 will the lye dissolve good? I am trying to keep the mixture cool and it looks like little bits of lye in the milk. TIA

I am trying to find vellum paper bags to package my soaps. Have looked everywhere and cant find them. Also have been looking for the transparent glassine bags cant find them in the right size. I have a blend that calls for 3 parts lavender, 3 parts lemongrass, 1 part peppermint, and 1 part rosemary. My question is how much of each one would I use in a 4 pound batch. I am not good at math so I need some help. Thanks.
