    Does anyone just let the vanillin win?

    I normally go with the flow on the ones I know have vanilla, here is a batch I did just to see how dark it would get. One is just 24 hours after,and the last is about a week, it's dark but not to dark, and I think it brings out the other colors!!

    I was doing a rebatch, for a shampoo bar that was lye heavy and i am sure if i did it wrong or what.

    yeah i didn't know what to do, or why it did it, I was glad it didn't get me as well, i think my biggest worry is what happens if something happened to me, I have 3 young kids, and my husband drives a truck for living so he is not close most of the day. so now i only soap when he is home. but...

    thanks Krista, I head a shampoo bar recipes i was trying to redo cause i thought it was lye heavy, had never done a re-batch, next thing i know it's coming out of crock pot with no way to stop, got everywhere but not on me thankfully.

    Hey everyone, I have been soaping for a few years and I had a volcano happen, and now I don't make as much or as often as would before, has anyone came back from that? Would love some encouragement, to get back in the saddle more I guess.

    Thanks Earlene. Thanks every, Yes it was a shock to see at first, cause i can see a difference in my soaps, plus my pictures I take as well, it's way past time to revisit that first soap. I made it for my then 3 or 4 year old, cause she loves Rainbows, so i call it rainbow drops.

    I usually just lurk, but i got on here and was reading, and i happened to see my profile picture and all i could think was wow i have come a long way since i took my first soap class, the first is one of my first batches the last are my most resent ones.
