I work for DVA in Canada-its the VA in the US. Its a wonderful job but I would chuck it if I could make soap all day.

I soaked the soapnuts in distilled water overnight,then made a batch of olive oil and superfatted with coconut oil. It is a great soap-my friend has a little girl who is covered in eczema because she is on anti rejection drugs. They love the soap. I use it as my face cleanser.

I would agree with her as there are a lot of chemicals that dont dissipate during the process.

I would steer away from Canola-it isnt really a healthy oil regardless of what the "experts"say. Comes from the rapeseed which is poisonous ,I believe I have also done a 50/50 coconut and olive oil and the clients love it
