    Soy Wax Soap

Soy Wax Supplier Well, I must confess this was a Hobby Lobby run. I always feel slightly creepy going in there but I didn't want to wait 5 days for shipping. Since I was just experimenting, I bought 2 lbs (they come in 1 lb plastic tubs) at $6.99 apiece. This soy wax has unspecified...

    Soy Wax Soap

Facial Soap I don't know yet whether it would make a good facial soap. It certainly leaves my skin feeling very "clean". I'd even say it was a bit drying. Perhaps if you mixed in a exfoliating material such as ground fruit pits? My girlfriend insisted I have actual real plates for eating...

    Soy Wax Soap

This is a 100% Soy Wax Soap I made the other day. It's a very hard bar which is slightly off-white. It has no lather but cleanses my skin pretty well. I am considering using it as my base because its really cheap.

    Soy wax soap

I was looking at base oils to make a harder veggie soap bar as my current palm/coconut/olive oil bars are too soft and seem to wear away very quickly compared to my lard-based bars. I stumbled across Zen Soap's Single Oil Soap Swap page http://www.zensoaps.com/singleoil.htm and found a bar...

    'liquid' palm ...seriously?

At last my organic chem classes are useful Hi, I am new to the forum and I am not sure what WSSB is. If it is an oil supplier, could you give me the expanded name as I would like to find a cheaper source for coconut oils. As far as the question as to why your palm oil is liquid...

My 1st Pine Tar Shampoo Bar Batch!

I make pine tar soap also Hi, Is the soap bar in the bottom bar a rebatch? I was interested in making pine tar soap for the same reasons that you did...in my case, I have a mild case of seborrhea, but I found the soap to be ineffective against it. Like yourself, I heard that...

    Beer and wine maker members

You won't regret it... Drinking beer you brewed yourself is is it's own reward. Freshly brewed beer has an infinitely more complex and robust taste than any Bud or Miller product. I wish you the best of luck.

    Beer and wine maker members

Home brewing and soapmaking Hi, I have been home brewing beer for a few years now and have a 5 gallon batch system down pat. Most of the little bitty beer making kits are no good for making drinkable beer. They're novelty gifts at best. You need a proper bucket fermentator system in...
