    Hi From Cambridge, UK.

Thanks for the welcome messages. I already use the beeswax for balms. for balms I find the easiest way to clean the wax is melt it into the oil first and then filter through cotton cloth. Much easier than cleaning the wax first!

    Hi From Cambridge, UK.

Hi, I am an aromatherapist. I have had a few goes at soap making, once on a course and a couple of goes making lye from wood ash with mixed results. I also regularly make a skin balm using olive oil essential oils and wax from my own bees. I am gearing up to have another go at soap making...

I filled a jar with quince skin, poured in olive oil and will leave it for four weeks shaking daily and then strain. I am doing this as an aromatherapist...
