Okay, question. What exactly is Ciaglia? I thought it was simply soap made from repurposing soap scraps. Is it layers or ..? I went down the internet rabbit hole trying to get a specific answer, but no joy!

That's helpful, thank you! I have been cleaning up the bars with a paring knife when they come out of the mold. Funny, isn't it? I'll spend $300 on butters, oils, EOs, FOs. But buy a $12 planer? Heavens, no! I'll just improve my whittling knife skills! 🤣

I've made some very very plain soaps! Only had one batch that was so bad I had to toss it. We'll call that the "Dead Sea Salt Fiasco of 2023"... Thanks for the inspiration! It's so amazing to see your soap art. :)
