I made my first batch not long ago. I've been lurking these forums for a while and I've been using the soapmakingfriends calculator too (which is pretty great). I'm fascinated by the science and artistry of handmade soaps. I've rarely been as keenly interested in a process that requires so much patience. I'm lucky to have found a way to cultivated my "Gratifikationsaufschub" haha I may become addicted to cutting soap and seeing the pattern!

Now I'm involved in developing a sudsy side revenue stream with a few people. We're in the research and development phase.
