    Thanks guys! But I'm looking at doing up a special Christmas scent for my soaps, but I want to get the mix just right before doing up a sizable batch of it for friends and family. The work-thing is a good idea! Our staff bathrooms are always running low on soap.

    I have used a soap calculator, but didn't for this batch. Since my measuring instruments aren't the best, I guess everything was kinda, off... I didn't know it was a weight thing, thank you!

    Could this happen if there was too little lye? This was CP and I have yet to attempt HP (got to get my mitts on a crockpot) Wish me luck!

    I don't know what went wrong. It looks like parts have soaponified while others haven't. There's liquid still oozing from some spots. I used olive, peanut, soy and canola oil, the same recipe that's worked fine before. Any ideas?
