How to make extremely hard soap

My 100% coconut oil dish soaps are hard as a rock. Not sure if that is what you are looking for. Pretty sure I could lay them out on my road as speed bumps. lol

What do you think of this logo?

I like both but the rectangle one uses up less space it seems. Nice and compact and easy to read. Both are beautiful. I would probably use both. The round labels for the backs of round objects would be cute.

How much faster does tallow trace than lard?

I have used tallow and my whole batch seized to soap on a stick. However, I chalked it up to my fragrance oil. So I really don't know lol. Never occurred to me that tallow is a quick mover. I use lard now since it seems to stay fluid for me much longer which enables me to create the designs...

Shower Lotion Bar Tests and recipes

@AliOop what a great idea. I am going to definitely try this before I delve into making shower lotion bars. I do need something on my skin especially in the winter months.

    Honey and Turmeric Recipe

That is great info on the recipe though. I have switched to lard and my skin is loving it. My bars seem to last longer.

    Honey and Turmeric Recipe

I would be interested to know this as well. I just made a tumeric, honey & Oats soap. Not sure if it is specifically for faces though. Although I think people use it for facial soap.

Karma (Lush Type) FO - Patchouli haters read this.

I haven't tried a Karma Dupe before. I did try Nag Champa though. I think you need to have people that are into that kind of smell because it is very overpowering. I don't mind it since it reminds me of mystical book shops in town.

    Question

That is good to know thanks. I thought it was just my stinky batch lol.

    Question

I recently did a honey soap (1st time) and I was hugely disappointed. It smelled horrible (burnt), but I let it cure and it smells lovely and the way it should with that fragrance. I also did a tumeric soap last month and I CPOP'd the main loaf, then the single molds I had leftover just...

    Double Lavender

These are beautiful. I would leave the layers as is. I am so tempted to try this again, especially if they turn out this pretty.

What soapy thing have you done today?

I finished off my "Secret garden soap" last night. Not really sure how to package them lol. I learned the hard way with my previous batch that to add the embeds before cutting was a catastrophe since none of the flowers survived. I added Lily of the Valley fragrance from New Directions...

How do you choose your color palettes?

I love colourful things, hence the reason I put so many colours in my soaps. I can take a palette of colours from a dress that I like or, I actually made a soap called pool noodles because of the noodles we were using in my sister's pool at the time. I love it. I have Pinterest'ed colour...

New Update on my Baby Girl...not good

OMG. It just keeps going for her. They couldn't at least try to lithotripsy it instead? Poor thing.
