    help with my lovely dog...

Oh dear lord that is too cute! My cats get along alright with Boomer, our bigger dog, but if Radha comes within 18 inches of them, they'll bleed her. It is sort of funny, sort of sad to see them let Boomer pass by unmolested, and see Radha try to go past right behind at the same distance...

Why does "natural" = "healthy" to people

I'm still trying to wrap my head around how so many people equate natural with good-for-you. People worry about the lye, is it natural, is it ok? Remember folks, Cobra venom is 100% natural. So how did the phrase "natural" become synonymous with "healthy"? It can't all be good marketing...

    Crock Pot soap( Newbie )

Freezer paper works to line molds. You don't need to line a silicone mold. I guess for a fancy type heavy duty mold with a design in the bottom you could use vaseline or maybe a nonstick cooking spray in HP. If you are doing CP the cooking spray mighty saponify.

    soap for hunters

I'm not sure, but that is either the coolest or the foulest thing I've heard this week. But hey, you may have discovered an entire new niche market. Your soaps could sell in various sporting goods stores all over! It's kinda like becoming the actor that everyone knows from the Herpes...

    yogurt?

I just read a post by Justpeachy stating: How do you add yogurt? What would the SAP value be? How do you calculate the weight and is it a bonus ingredient added at trace or a decent percentage of the soap ingredients? Is it weird that this is the most excited I've been all day?

    Conditioning VS Creamy

Up the conditioning. According to the soap qualities listed on Soapcalc: the creamy only refers to the lather quality. And because listing sources is good... http://www.soapcalc.net/info/soapqualities.asp

    Palmarosa oil

Does anyone else think that this stuff smells like iced tea? Because it sure does to me... Kinda yummy. I'm really starting to like palmarosa oil, and it's my DH's favorite.

    Decorating soap

And now here is another question/idea... Has anyone used eyeshadow instead if mica for stamping their soaps? Isn't the mica that soapers use the same as the mica in eyeshadow? I keep seeing "cosmetic grade" micas. I know that it would be a nightmare for resale purposes to list the...
