Some of them did get hard last year. They were hard to get out of the container. If I were going to do them again this year I'd let them dry out a bit.

I read somewhere that infrequently used soaps are more likely to go rancid than properly stored soaps. It was that bubble test I read awhile back. I'll see if I can find it
Ugh this heat is miserable. I just got done working in the garden. Good thing I have good soap- this time of year we all take multiple showers a day. Oh and that blacksmith soap works great. Thanks @earlene !
