    scenting deodorant

So I'm venturing down the path of deodorant. I've got my basic recipe down, but I'm wondering what essential oil combinations would be good. I HATE HATE HATE patchouli, lavender, and sandalwood. I'm open to anything else. Am I able to use fragrance oil at all? Has anyone ever tried making...

I've had a lot of people comment that they love the smell of the lavender I use. And I use French! I personally hate lavender, it all smells the same to me. But I get these comments all the time!

    Shampoo scent suggestions

I love fruity scents too, but I tried scenting it with Caribbean fragrance oil from natures garden, and I found that the fragrance didn't hold well. I can smell it in the product, but not in my hair. So I'm thinking of trying other combinations and see what that does!

    Successful craft show?

I think it varies on the show and how much the table costs. I've been to craft fairs where tables cost $60 and I've be to fairs where the table costs $600! I've made anything from double my table fee to 6 times my table fee! Actually, I lied, one time I didn't even make my table fee back. Boy...

    Bath melts help please

I have made them with baking soda and citric acid. It's a cool effect because they melt while they fizz. Personally, I hate making bath melts because I find that they melt in the summer and I don't have enough storage space to keep them cool. But I guess that is the point of a bath melt! Lol

    Liquid soap turned solid?

So I want to share something very odd. I made a batch of liquid soap and divided it into two. One half was scented with candy smelling fragrance oil and the other half was scented with a cucumber fragrance oil. The batch with the cucumber fragrance oil has gone all wonky. It first turned cloudy...

    Waterproofing Product Labels

I would just like to mention that I have tried using the krylon sealing spray, and I didn't like it. It made a weird finish in the labels that felt almost like sandpaper. Maybe I didn't spray it right? I use waterproof labels from OnlineLabels, and I think they work great :)
