    DeeAnna, Thank you for your insight. I see your point. All oils wash away, makes perfect sense. You are correct, I want to try to make a soap that leaves just a small trace of oils in the beard. Is that at all possible? I am a complete beginner and completely naive and ignorant. I don't know...
