    I haven't used any skin lighteners in soap but I have read that Turmeric EO, about 10-15 drops in 2 ounces of lotion or an oil such as meadowfoam or argan, can help with skin lightening. I use Turmeric in soap as a colorant because of its wonderful properties as an anti-inflammatory...

    Totally agree with everyone on leaving out the SoapsNSuch. CaliDavali has a nice ring to it! On your label, you might add Handmade under CaliDavali in a curved text :)

    I have had this happen before and found that I had added a little too much moisture (alcohol/witch hazel) to the mix. I also add cocoa butter and a little shea to mine as well as cream of tartar and turkey red castor oil.
