I know this post is older... Just came across it. In 2019 I did use a flavor oil in my soap, It was accidental but the soap turned out fine and was one of my favorites I have ever made actually. It did have some glycerin rivers and I am not sure if it is related. I am actually going to try it...

It is a difficult topic to discuss. It’s almost as if they think we went a killed a poor defenseless animal to make a loaf of soap. :-/ I agree with another comment/ make your best and explain if asked. I think people will buy it.

I will take a picture and post - if it shows... it is not like a bar full of sand but more like sprinkles of sand. The bar I bought in Julian was very sandy. I no longer have that bar however. The grains look simular to table salt. Also simular to the lye grains, But my lye solution was mixed...

I do not remember the name of the store. It is on the road leading into the town. It’s on the left side. They have a sign out front telling people the name of the cat. They sell antiques and also have cookies and muffins. Sorry, I cannot remember the store name... but i know how to get there! Ha ha!
