If I poured at a much thinner trace, will the soap saponify correctly?

I appreciate the link, thanks for that. I skimmed the description of the product. I suspect the oil itself is odourless, which raises the question, use the cheapest that can be found, or buy the extra virgin organic coconut oil. Does it make a difference to the soap?

I cut the soap about 24h after pouring, I am a bit slow getting the picture up. The lather is light grey, and doesn't stain anything.

First attempt, and the loaf contained too many bubbles. The little bars are just left overs. Not sure how to get bubbles out after accidentally blending and mixing them in, vibration plate?

I like your pictures. The blacks are very black, except on the top, is that what ash looks like? Were the tops sprayed with alcohol after pouring?

I did not run the numbers through a soap calc, but I was wondering if you used an immersion blender? Was that three hours by hand? You must be pop-eye!:)
