    EO combos for everyday scents?

I love those ideas, you guys. Smart with the cheesecakey type scent. These scents are mostly for my products for the younger family members, and they're biggest complaint was smelling "funny" in my research! I don't think i'll be able to go a full on food smell, but sugar cookie smells to be...

    EO combos for everyday scents?

Is there any sort of a resource that has some EO combinations for everyday scents like "cupcakes" or "sugar cookies" or "the beach?" I know I have a LOT of experiementing to do, but a jumping off point would be excellent!

    I'm raging!

I feel like I would have had a very angry mental freak out lol I can't stand rude soapers. They act like they never had a role model or someone they bought soaps from. When I go to shows, we usually ALL buy from each other and comment on how pretty/nice/well made the other soapers products are...

    Differences in Lye

You totally answered my question even though I phrased it weird. I meant in regards to treating them the same as far as handling and calculating. I have no desire to try and interchange them. Chemistry is not my preferred personal playground lol

    Are you a morning person?

I'm pretty sure I'm supposed to be a morning person, but I'm entirely too energetic to be I have to exhaust all my energy at night. I'm normally up around 10 or 10:30, but I also normally don't go to bed until 2 or 3 AM. I'm normally more creative then becaue the house is silent and my creative...

    Differences in Lye

Both are Lye, so they both get treated the same in CP and HP, right?

    Differences in Lye

Okay, so in my new found pursuit of CP and HP soap making (which I decided to take up today) I've finally settled into my reading. My question is regarding Potassium Hydroxide and Sodium Hydroxide. I seems like the difference between KOH and NAOH is that KOH is used solely for liquid soap...

Finally eating my own words about never doing CP

I'm dragging the hubby out for a book run (and a smoothie) now! I think I may have created a monster in me! Hopefully I'll be ready to play next week!

Finally eating my own words about never doing CP

Oh no, not boiling water our even hot. Just plain distilled water hanging out in a pot. I just discovered HP (I feel like a soap artists while you guys are like magical soap chemists now ): ) and I think that might solve this whole mess.

Finally eating my own words about never doing CP

My none pre-made-based things won't be ready until 2014, maybe not even until that Holiday time, so hopefully I'll have a bit of time to get into this grove. From what I was getting is that you can make castile soap in CP and then melt down your bars in a pot of water. Or is there a simplier way...

What age is is socially unacceptable to...(warning, this is more for ladies than men!

I have light periods, so I've never used that excuse. I think it's kind of distatsteful to shout from the mountain tops that you can't do something because of your period. Not everyone wants to know that! I think 'i'm sick,' or something else similar would be much more acceptable.

Finally eating my own words about never doing CP

This is all just very interesting and exciting. I wasn't aware that I could make liquid soap from CP. I don't know why this never occured to me, but for some reason it just didn't. Using my own castile soaps I wouldn't need a premade base for my body washes, shampoos, or face scrubs. Seriously...

The Truth about making "Real" Gel Candle's

I second lsg's suggestion! I go through so much gel candle base in the summer and I'm trying to transition into being premade base free. Being able to create my own base would be so great.
