Just joined and am a newbie to soap-making

Hello, I'm still here. I haven't made any soap in a long while. I'm still using what I made. I want to make more, but I've been moving things from my basement. I've having it remodeled and my soap supplies are buried and out of reach. The renovation will take 6 weeks, so I may be back after they...

Does this recipe look like it makes sense?

Hello everyone. I want to say hello before the year ends. I'm super busy and not with soap. I have a book to finish before Christmas, a party to clean the house for (I hired a service to do the deep clean), school projects to attend for my daughter and to finish the shopping. Happy Holidays to all.

What soapy thing have you done today?

Hi. I'm just checking in. Alive and well and thinking about making soap. I haven't done it in a year, but I keep track of the forum. I mainly do basic soap, not artistic work like I see here and drool over. Have a great time soaping everyone.

What soapy thing have you done today?

HI, just saying I'm still here and still reading everyone's inspirational posts. I haven't made soap in a long while. My supplies are getting low and my hands are itching to make some. Maybe soon. There are so many priorities in front of soap.

What soapy thing have you done today?

Hi, I've been away from the forum, busy with family and holidays. But I really want to make some more soap. I've been watching videos to re-familiarize myself with the process. I'm going to make the olive oil soak because I also cook a lot and need it for removing smells from my hands. With...

    Eco-Packing for Soap Shipments

Thanks. The bars are larger than the ferro candy. I only used that to show the lotion bar could be displayed. Thanks for your help.

    Eco-Packing for Soap Shipments

Hi, I've been MIA (missing in action) for a while. I have a packaging question. My college roommate asked me to do 20 lotion bars for a party. she lived in Indiana and I'm in New Jersey (USA). I bought plastic boxes 5 x 3.5 (inches). They are taller than the lotion bars. I've made a display of...

    An Amazing Acrylic Soap Beveler

The bars I did last night (still M&P) are better to see. The soap is thicker and harder, but still needs a little curing (although it says you don't). I randomly pulled a key to check and found one I like. I'll probably use that one more unless I go experimenting again. Cleanup isn't bad and I...

    An Amazing Acrylic Soap Beveler

Here are the photos. I don't have any soap that isn't already beveled, so I did a quick melt and pour. The definition isn't that great, but you can see it. It works better if you have a hard soap. The different types of cuts come on metal keys that have to be screwed into the side of the...

    An Amazing Acrylic Soap Beveler

I love it. I tried it the moment it came, well I had to figure out the attachments, but it worked fine. It cleans and stores quickly, a plus in my book.
