Hi, I want to make cold press soap using the water that I soaked my sea moss in plus use the sea moss. Has anyone ever tried using the soaked water from sea moss?

When you say "indigo in oil" is the oil discounted?

It's fine. No cause for worry. It's part of the gelling process.

I've never tried evaporated milk in soap before but try it. Sometimes experimenting leads to nice discoveries. When I use the ice cube method my soap is not a white color. It is more a caramel color. But it's nice.

You can also freeze the milk in ice trays. Put the cubes in your container aloneg with 1 ounce of water and gradually pour lye on top while stirring until it all melts. I use this method and my soap never turns dark.

Mustard oil From my experience, a small percentage of your soap should contain mustard oil. If not, like you said the soap can end up being too soft. Although mustard oil makes a really moisturizing bar it should be used in large quantities.

Set the cleansing to 0? Why should the cleansing be set to 0? I'm confused. Shouldn't a shampoo bar cleanse also? Why not add some coconut oil? I am really trying to understand.
