    liners for bath bomb cupcakes?

What about making your bath bombs without a liner, in a mould so you have a smooth looking base. Let them dry for a few days and then place them in these kind of cupcake liners: (are they even liners?) http://www.deleukstetaartenshop.nl/culpitt-12-cupcake-wraps-lace-flower

    New EU cosmetic regulations

I don't know, the entire process is a mystery to me. Even trying to figure out how you can start a legit (hobby) soapmaking bussines is a mystery. They make things so dificult! You'd think, europe being in economical crisis and all, they'd help people put up small bussinesses... You could try...

    Fast thick trace

Pomace is not available here unless I buy it from soaping suppliers. But everytime I've used a recipe high in olive oil, it really messes up my colors. Many turn an ugly brown or green.

    Recreating aleppo soap

Belgium is even slightly more expensive. And then they are surprised no one uses the post anymore... What are they trying to reach with this?

    Recreating aleppo soap

Hii! I don't know how to quote multiple people so I'm gonna try it like this About cleaning the oil: if you'd actually use sea water I think that when you boil it the bad things will float on top and you can scoop it of. But that's just my idea, don't know if it actually works like this...

    Recreating aleppo soap

Hii! When ordering a bunch of herbs a few days I noticed that that supplier sells laurel oil! And not even at those insane prices I've heard before. So, looking at wikipedia, the "recipe" was like 2-30% laurel oil + olive oil. It also said that they use seawater. That's where I hit a wall...

    Fast thick trace

Thanks for all the great responses! Some were asking for my recipe, is it possible that the link doesn't work? I've heard of some that letting both lye and oils go below 30°C, you can have a false trace. That's why I have not dared to go below 30°C yet. I like the idea of lowering/go without the...

    Fast thick trace

Hii everyone! Every time I make soap, ever since I started soapmaking, I have never had a thin trace batch like the one you see in the videos. The close-to water kind of trace. The moment I add my lye to my oils and pulse stickblend for just a second, the mixed part is already thick. Once I was...

    Turning powder colorants into liquids

Depending on the amount of powder I use and need, 6 to 12 months shelf life would be desired. I think it's possible to do this with everything as long as you know if it's oil/water/glycerin/alcohol soluble, however, water will give it a short shelf life without a preservative. I think...

    Tips and tricks, post yours?

When you're done pouring your soap, swirling and texturing your soap. Go with a skewer around the edges. It gives a 'cleaner' look to the soap and you don't have those sticking out parts you particularly see when you cut your soap.

    Turning powder colorants into liquids

Hii! I'd like to have your opinion about something. I've been thinking about putting my micas in oil, like before you add them to your soap, and put them in little bottles. I'm doing this because I often mis-measure my micas and after I mix it with my soap it turns out there's not enough...

    Tips and tricks, post yours?

If you want to stamp your soap but the stamp pulls your soap out, place some saran wrap/plastic wrap tight around your soap and stamp on that. Good imprint without the flaws.

    Essential oil suitable for bronchitis?

Hii! I've never used elemi oil but it looks very interesting, for a number of things. Have you tried vicks? If your wife doesn't have problems with that, you can use the essential oils used there to. Overall I'm cautious with health and essential oils, I'd look for someone who knows a big deal...
