    Possible allergy to handmade soap???

Re: soap allergy I do tend to get dry skin...and in the winter I do end up using a moiturizer on my legs (I have been using Eucerin's itch calming cream) cause during the winter I wasn't sure if it was just dry skin or the soap or what. I actually very rarely use a moisturizer on my...

    Adding things

I can't answer about the Aloe because I have yet to try it....but with Oatmeal it depends on how much soap you are making....but also some people like more scrubbiness than others...so you would have to take that in to consideration. But I think I have one recipe for approximately 2 lbs of soap...

    Vegetable shortening - Soybean oil

I have used soybean oil a couple of different times...mostly when I have the itch to try something and may not have all of my regular oils on hand...I have never had a problem with it...the few times I have used it it has been fine and the soap turned out great.
