Wow, I went away for a bit, and this thread exploded. Is there a recipe in here somewhere? Can anyone repost it for me or give a page number?

    Fractionated Coconut Oil in CP

So, I find myself having a bottle of Fractionated Coconut Oil... It's clear, it's liquid. Can it replace regular coconut oil in CP? Or HP? Possibly super fat with it?

    Steric Acid?

I wasn't after a shaving soap recipe per say. I was trying to find out how Steric Acid affects soap as I consulted a Chemist friend in the attempt to create a more transparent bar. The shaving soap link was a good example of a high Steric recipe.

    Steric Acid?

Howdy. So found a shaving soap recipe that contains 45% Steric Acid... https://www.modernsoapmaking.com/tutorial-shaving-soap-recipe/ I've always read the you should only use 5% Steric Acid. So, is this recipe bad? As a side note, I upped the amount of Steric I put into my transparent HP...

How to figure how much oil for mold.

I was joking, yes, but I do like to point that fact out. The UK uses Imperial for a good many things still, I do blacksmithing, and often things are still Imperial for that in the UK.

    Cold Weather and Soda Ash

So my search turned up nothing. So here goes, the weather here in Iowa decided to change last week from perfect to cold. A batch of soap that is about 8 weeks old suddenly developed a lot of soda ash on it. 1. Is it the cold? 2. Does this mean it wasn't fully cured? 3. If I ship...
