I usually follow specific recipes, but want to make my own. I started with this: from BB lye calculator Last photo. This is how it looked after 40 hours. very oily and soft. I put mold on heater for 20 min. then covered. I couldn't unmold for 40 hours. Help, any ideas?

I like the color blocks from BB or micas work well also. Add to melted goats milk M&P until you like color. Color will be more pastel due to the white goats milk. Add FO you like and pour into mold. there are a ton of GM recipes on Soapqueen.com. good luck! I definitely think it is a creamy soap.

I always add 1 teaspoon of sodium lactate per pound of MP for harder soap. It also helps release from the silicone mold.

Is it ok to leave soap in mold for 4 to 5 days?

I think I'm finally getting the hang of swirled CP soap. Made a nice 18 mold of pinks & greens, but the next one was a real eye opener! Made a coffee soap using cold coffee for water with the lye. I must not have let the coffee cool enough and when I poured the lye in, it heated and overflowed...

In the new flyer there are a ton of fragrances on sale. Can anyone recommend their favorites? I would like to stock up and I have not used WSP before.
