I did use a stick blender and it did trace well,used silicone mold ..

nope no liquid on top ,but its soft , if i press even a lil it will change its shape

hello , I tried the following recipe 10 oz Coconut Oil 40 oz Olive Oil 6.78 oz Lye 16.5 oz Water Been a week now , the soap is still creamy in state n not set , what went wrong ? Where did i mess up ?

oils i can , animal fat no , i dont want to use

is it equivalent to clarified butter , available at asian stores?

I am talking about Degrees (C) , the water was not ice cold that i used . My soap is still setting in , i Guess , been 2 days n its in mold n kinda not fully set .

Hello , I am a beginner , this was my first attempt , I read it that the LYe temp. rises above 100 degrees , but in my case it only reached 77 degrees , what went wrong ??? 16oz olive oil 2oz lye 6 oz water
