    Been had by bad oil!!!!!

So I thought I found a deal on OOP, until I realized that it was so cheap because it was laced with soybean oil! Dang it!!! I already made soap with it! It was suggested to me to figure on a soap calc the difference between the two oils. Olive pomace has a SAP value of 0.135 and soy is...

    3 Oil Soap...

I am lucky enough to be able to participate in the 3 Oil Swap that is coming up! I am so excited about that. BUT I was reading through the thread and what Paul had to say about only using 3 oils to make a great bar of soap got me to thinking... Initially I thought about CO, OO, and Crisco...

    Batch Number 6! :)

    White swirls in soap

What CP process did you use? HP/RT/OP? Did your oils melt all the way? I know crisco is always the last in my pot to finish melting. It looks kind of like the crisco was still melting during the gel phase to me. Not that I'm an expert, it just looks that way to me. I hope it is still good...

Carrot juice, carrot oil, or carrot EO?

Thanks Neil! I am liking the color more and more and I am also liking how the scent is developing. I think that I should try it again using a different kind of honey, because the honey I used is very dark almost black! I was hoping to get a color like this...
