    How to calculate allergens

Hello, I was wondering if anyone know how to calculate the allergenes in essentielle oils? Example I add .85% of E.O.'s to my soap 250ml = 2.1ml E.O. I had my Lavender soap tested in a lab and the d-Limonene had 0.0150% - Geraniol 0.0020% - Linalool 0.1440% - Coumarine 0.0080% My oil...

Soap turns white in colder temps.

I use 23% Coconut oil, 33% Castor and 44% Olive oil which gives me 33% Oleic, 30% Ricinoleic, 11% Lauric fatty acids. ( 2% superfat) I found out that a PH of 9 makes the soap resist just as good as Dr.Bonners soap but PH lower than that the soap turns white pretty fast this time of year...

Soap turns white in colder temps.

Hello Soapers, Has anyone figured out how to keep liquid soap from turning white in colder temps? ( I figure its the fats in the oils that turns white, because when reheated it turns transparent again) I also noticed that the lower the ph the quicker it turns white. Any other ideas? Thank you

Hello Friends, Does anybody have a good idea of when to add EO's? I have noticed that if I add them in the base soap that has cooled off I often get cloudy soap from adding the essentielle oils. Is it better to add them before the soap cools down? if yes is there an ideal temperature...

When to add citric acid and glycerine?

I use 4% superfat but still burns the skin if theres a open cut with PH10, so I figured it might be good to dop the PH lower to PH8.5 ( I know theres a lot of different thoughts on PH). am I wrong?

When to add citric acid and glycerine?

By batch water you mean the water i use to dilute the KOH? ( if yes, I just mix my glycerine with the water and add my KOH? ) I was using citric acid to drop the PH and it seems to make the soap softer on the skin. Thanks Sussie
