How do you shred your loofa? I grew them last year, and my results were a bit disappointing, they are pretty small and not very spongy. Shredding them might be a good solution. I'm going to grow them again this year, but started the seeds earlier this time.

Bottles are nice plastic too. Hard to damage in shipping.

Exactly! That is why I tried using the soap dough or a piece of soap. The object can also float around if it isn’t heavy enough. The whole bottle on end is a great idea too.

Thanks! It was better in theory than execution. It did work well to remove without messing up the center, but the batter set up too fast.

I made two batches at once, tried different recipes and different pour over objects. I chose the one in the entry as it was more consistent and a really lovely texture. The other one: I tried pouring it over a piece of soap dough I shaped into an umbrella. As you can tell, batter thickened...

Decided to try pouring over a rectangle of soap. They ended up looking like zebra stripes I love that each bar is a little unique! Thanks for taking the time to look and thanks for letting me participate in this challenge!
