It was grounds after the coffee was made. Unused the coffee as lye water and added the grounds from it after. I don't think I added too much by the looks of it but I will have to see in a few weeks. I also made sure to grind it a lot so the peices were smaller and smoother
Thanks for the article. I didn't add any to my cream but maybe next time I will leave see perfume sitting out to let the alcohol evaporate and then add it. I don't really care if it discolors it. Thanks!
I'm going to make some lotion and I can't seem to find a fragrance oil I like or an eo combo. I seem to be really picky. But I have a few perfumes I like. Could I put my perfume in the lotion or would the alcohol content ruin the recipe? Thanks for your input!
Usually I just use coffee in my morning grind soap but since I already had some to sell and wanted something different to put out on the table I put grinds in it this time.
Lol. I seem to be having trouble posting.
Here is the pic
Realistically, all of my soaps would sell better if I added fragrance. I just prefer to make all natural soaps. I don't like essential oils either. They scare me. I'm always afraid someone will have a reaction and you have to know just how much to use. Plus they are expensive
It sells well compared to my other soaps but in general I don't have a lot of sales. I think mostly people go for the activated charcoal. I thought it would be more appealing. I think it's super cute. Th recipe is awesome though
This is my favorite recipe. 22% cocoa butter and fragrance free. It's hard to tell in the picture but the edges have a little criss cross pattern just like a hockey puck.
