    Chocolate soap

This is a wonderful chocolate, strong and sticks well. It also discolors very dark, no need to add color https://www.brambleberry.com/shop-by-product/ingredients/fragrance-oils/dark-rich-chocolate-fragrance-oil/V000169.html

    Soap setting up too fast.

Want to add on about scents. If you are buying soap scent at places like micheals or hibby lobby, those are designed for MP and will act up in CP. Always make sure your FO are made for CP soaps.

    Newton’s Third Law

Yes, hair damage from soap is a real thing. As mentioned, I had to buzz mine to 1/4" after it started breaking off in clumps. Granted it took about 2 year to get to that point, the high PH takes time to break down the cuticle. Some people can use soap with no issue but unfortunately your hair...

    My Amigurumi

@Relle have you tried a stingray? They are pretty quick to make

How are you offsetting the cost of Olive Oil?

I'd swap out the butters for lard or palm. I use sunflower, safflower or avocado in place of OO, depends on what is available and prices

    batter color - less yellow?

If you are using virgin OO, switch to regular OO. If your using unrefined shea, it can cause yellow too

    Amigurumi

I'm just learning to crochet and have made a couple amigurumi, they don't look very good and I've learned I hate crocheting in the round. I did get yarn to make pop tarts and one of these days I will try a bee or maybe a frog.

What is the weirdest thing you've put in soap ?

Purple cabbage juice, I was experimenting with color change from PH. Made the soap smell like a fart and it never went away🤢

Which font do you think would work best for my logo?

    I like the second

    Tall & Skinny Mold

I got my tall and skinny off etsy. Its pretty stiff so you need to let your soap get good and hard before unmolding https://www.etsy.com/listing/688264769/mini-tall-skinny-soap-loaf-mold-21oz

Does this recipe look like it makes sense?

How do you get 8 bars out of 42 oz? My 16oz mold gives me 7 bars. @TheGreenProductJunkie I would also recommend a much smaller mold to start. I use 1 pound molds most of the time. This is the one I have https://www.etsy.com/listing/688264769/

Why does my hot process soap look slimy and yucky like this?

I've never heard of soap with a gooey layer like that. Does it ever happen when you do CP? For the record, you don't have to cook your batter to death or on high. Use low and once it goes transparent, pour it

Aggravating market - I do not love rock & roll

I would complain the the event organizers and see if you could get some money back. One of the farmers market I go to sometimes has live music music and it is insanely loud. I feel bad for the vendors and I leave within a few minutes of them starting to play.

    Falling snow

No, I don't think tapioco or rock salt will work throughout the soap. Bith are hard, you wouldn't be able to cut the soap without making a absolute mess. You might be able to use coarse salt, it would he speckly but not particularly white. Sounds like you need to do some experiments

    Falling snow

I've used small tapioca on top of soap before, they were supposed to be suds on a beer soap. I coated them in white mica so they were shiny Didn't have any issues with it but I did wipe them off before using the soap. If you are just looking for decorative toppers, flaked salt would probably...
