What soapy thing have you done today?

Funny, I tought that we don't have anything very special oil here in Finland :D but apparently we do have better selection for pistachio oil! I've seen few different brands even :o I haven't used it on a soap yet. So can't really tell how it's like, but when I have tried it, I promise to post...

Guys, you are letting everyone know that English is not my first language! :'D just kidding, no worries, it's good to learn new things ;) Yep, coarse is the word! And that is a good point you are making Dibbles. The salt I have now maybe too rough. Luckily it is good for cooking too if I...

They always get a treat after that ;) When soap is curing I cover the mold with something, like paper towel. And when it's time to cut the...

What soapy thing have you done today?

I put my re-batched milk & honey soap to the freezer so I can get it out of the mold and cut it  It overheated at first so it had a big hole in the middle of it. That's why I re-batched.

What's the deal with beer soap?

Beer soap sounds like a good Christmas gift for my dad! I'm a Finn, so we have this thing called sauna and with it usually comes a beer, "saunakalja." So it would be fun to do a batch with his favourite beer :D
