I tried the orange and patchouli. It's a very nice combo. At first the orange was extremely strong but now it's starting to fade. Just got two new EO's today. Rosemary and Basil. Not sure if I should mix them together or mix them with something else.

I bet it's the fragrance with the rebatched soap. I put probably 2 teaspoons of cocoa powder, maybe more. I think I will have to try the micas because it just bleeds so much. Do any natural colorants give a good blue, green or red?

The first picture is a rebatch and it bleeds also. I grated the pieces and remelted them and added water. No extra colorant but the fragrance does make it brown.

60oz lard 6 oz coconut oil It's the drops so we just add until it's the color we want, same with the cocoa powder.

Sorry I meant bleeding as in when you wash your hands in the sink there is tons of color in the sink from the soap.

I've only been making soap for a few months but in the ones I used colorants in it's been bleeding pretty bad. I used cocoa power and I used a liquid colorant from NG. What would you suggest to use to color our soaps? Thank you in advanced.

I love the transparency of them, it's quite beautiful. Also a plus that you can use them right away.

So nice, I haven't tried melt and pour yet, does that need to cure too?

Thanks so much :] What would tea tree be a good mix with? I've never heard of it in a soap before. They all smell so strong lol.

My husband got me Orange Lavender Patchouli Tea tree And some activated charcoal(colorant) The only EO I used before was eucalyptus and I use about 1.5 oz for 4 pounds of soap. I would love to make an orange and patchouli soap but how much should I do?
