Hi I make a shampoo bar with ACV insted of water. Now i would like to ad 2% citric acid in my soap. Is it safe to ad citric acid to ACV and then ad caustic soda ?

I love uncented soap, and the longer they cure, the better :-)

I add the ACV after my soap is done, there is no lye to react with , i do HP soaps :-)

What does vinegar react with, to form sodium acetate ? :-)

I make my own shampoo bar, HP, and add ACV after cook, and it works great :-)

When i first started making soap, i was expecting that the soap would leave the same feling on the skin as comercial soap .......... boy that was my biggest mistake :-) Detergent and soap is two different thing, and can not be compared :-) I stopped using detergent, and only used my own soap...

100 g almond milk, 2 tbsp youghurt. 150 g ACV ( taken from the lye ACV :-)
