    Mile High Soap???

I've never heard of them but did a quick Google search. They show as temporarily closed. Also it looks like the reviews in the past few months have not been as good as before. If you are not getting a response from them and have not gotten your order, dispute the charges with your credit...

    Hacks and shortcuts!

I save the buckets that my hard oils come in. When I want to do something soapy but have limited time I pre measure my hard oils into a bucket. I pre measure my soft oils into a coffee creamer jug using 1 cup for all oils. At this point my cleanup is my scoop, a measuring cup, and my flexible...

    Storing soap after cure

Once cured I box and label my soaps then store in cardboard parts bins on a plastic shelving unit. In alphabetical order by name because I'm OCD like that.

A soap as a drug? From a local soap maker.

I have used a "has been known to" statement. For example "jewelweed has been known to help calm the itch from poison ivy". I am not making a medical claim regarding my soap. I am mentioning the possible benefit of an ingredient.

    Frustration near New Orleans

Sorry, I didn't read all of the posts and see others beat me to my suggestion. I understand your frustration because there are others who see the same post as you about a cute item, run to the store, clear the shelf then post in a FB group asking what they can do with that item.

    Frustration near New Orleans

If you find them online at Dollar Tree I am pretty sure you can have them shipped to your local Dollar Tree for free. I have been told by others that they have done this. YMMV.

    Consignment best practices

I agree with @TheGecko. The problem with consignment many times is the record keeping, and not wanting to pay for what was sold. I have sold my soap in consignment locations many times and the problem has always been the record keeping. As I business owner I am record keeping driven so at...

    Market tent recommendations

We got ours from Sam's Club and have used it for 5 Years without issue. It came with all 4 sides, tiebacks and a rolling bag. It is worth it's weight in gold. If I recall correctly it was around $200.

Pine tar soap did not turn out right

When I make my pine tar I add the pine tar AFTER I have mixed my oils and lye water. This has helped me guarantee that my oils and lye are mixed well. I have learned that things move very quickly once you add the pine tar.
