Yes I did test them out. Still feel and work the same as the beginning, no itch or anything. And my skin is usually sensitive about it, like if I accidentally put a little too much preservative my skin gets really itchy. So far I only make small batches, I make a 4oz batch at a time.

I'm diluting my paste at the moment using irishlass canning method but reduced the water to 50:50. It's still a bit runny for my liking. If I want to add thickener (xantham gum) and honey, when they should be added? But I'm not sure if real honey is a good idea though, maybe I'll use honey extract.

I've never heard them before, I'll check the blog. Can I use xantham gum? Also on the first step, when the koh is diluted with water at 1:1 before adding the glycerine, you don't need any heat, right? Because the koh is dissolved completely with water.

I tried using poly 80 and it turned the oil even cloudier But I love that I can use it as a bath oil! I will try it again using other FO and maybe less IPM.

I've seen many recipes (bubble bars, foaming bath, etc) using SCI. I live outside the US and don't have any access to it. What kind of bubbles does it create and what's the closest substitute? I have access to coco betaine, dls mild, cocamide dea, coco glucoside, and sles, but no SLSA either.
